Why is it important for your child to learn to play an instrument?
Over 20 years of scientific research has been proven that learning to play an instrument is the best
form of exercise for your child’s brain. It connects, develops and refines the entire neurological and
motor neuron system. This means it enhances the process of learning, particularly mathematical
learning and develops fine motor skills, creativity and emotional balance. It also promotes self-
discipline and motivation. Finally, it is a lot of fun and a very rewarding past time.
