MECHANICAL REMOTE CONTROLS

MPC PANEL-GEN II- FINGER RELEASE-MCM (CHROME) 883710A01
The Panel Mount control features a chrome handle and is designed for outboard
engines w/o power trim. All installations require a separate Ignition/Choke
assembly and T/S cables to complete the installation. The power trim adapter
harness is included to convert 3 pin molex connector to the traditional 3 blade
Mercury connector. The neutral safety switch leads are 6.5 ft. (1.98 m) long and
have bullet connectors on the ends. The lanyard switch leads also have bullet MECHANICAL REMOTE CONTROLS
connectors on the ends.
Used on Outboard engines only ‑ Non Trim versions.
The control uses GEN II T/S cables.

trim and trailer switch harness with the 4 pin molex connector. All installations
require a separate Ignition/Choke assembly and T/S cables to complete the
installation. The neutral safety switch leads are 6.5 ft. (1.98 m) and have a bullet
connector on the ends. The lanyard switch leads also have bullet style connector
ends. Must use Gen II Throttle/Shift cables. (897978A__)
The power trim extension harness also needs to be ordered separately:

Fits all current MCM and Mercury/Mariner 3.4L outboards with external trim 891648001
cylinders. Woodgrain cover allows you to customize the look of your control. Snap out the
Mercury Branded black inner bezel and snap in the custom bezel to enrich the appearance of your
PANEL MOUNT REMOTE CONTROL-GEN II- LOCK BAR control.

appearance of your control.
The control fits all current Mercury/Mariner outboards (with integral trim) and 1993
and newer Force outboards 40 HP and higher utilizing Mercury style cables (with Use on 4000 Gen II Panel Mount controls‑ Lock Bar one piece design
power trim).
