Thank you our beloved Marijke Croes

ORANJESTAD – All the col-
leagues of Bon Dia Aruba
and Aruba Today came to-
gether to celebrate the re-
markable 27th anniversary
of our beloved colleague
Marijke Croes, who at the
same time began her re-
tirement.

Croes was part of the
group that founded Carib-
bean Speed Printers N.V.
and was in charge of the
first publication of both the
Bon Dia Aruba and Aruba
Today newspapers.
As a member of the sales
department, Croes, was
well-known and very ap-
preciated by our business
partners and local market-
ing agencies. Croes was al-
ways ready to go beyond
the call of duty to please
her clients. She was able
to step in and help in any
way possible to see that
Bon Dia_which she calls her
baby_succeded.
Surrounded by her col-
leagues, Croes shared
some funny stories about
“her baby” which she loves
with all her heart. The pas-
sion and love was felt in
every word she spoke and
there were tears in her eyes.
She stated that it wasn’t an
easy desicion to leave Bon
Dia behind to go into retire-
ment seeing the love she
has for her job.
Everyone received a rose
from Croes as a token of
appreciation. Her kindness,
her smile, her passion, her
professionalism, and most
of all, her responsiblity to-
wards the job will be missed
by all of us. We might not
see her everyday, but we
can still listen to her unique
and beautiful voice on the
radio where she hosts a
program with oldies songs.

home-away- from –home,
and we wish her a well in
her retirement. We shall
