Marieta and Pedro cooked passionately—something they only did at La Lomita, not in Mallorca, where they
were surrounded by servants.

Huguette, Pedro’s wife from Tahiti, was a great maker of salads. Everyone loved Girard’s Champagne

Zourab enjoyed cold meat boards with cheese and nuts and a big fresh salad. He was known to be health crafted Milano-type
conscious. Marieta was always conscious of her figure and ate very low-fat.

Everyone loved Milano cookies and expensive Swiss Chocolates.
Little Igor was known to eat “everything”. One of his favorite dishes were
chicken strips with cheese sauce at The Graduate.
Marieta enjoyed eating big steaks at Jocko’s and McLintock’s. The only non-
Mexican “worldly” restaurant in San Luis Obispo was Café Roma!
