Hyatt Legal Plan

The plan offers free and reduced-cost legal help and consultation to eligible employees
who work 20+ hours per week and at a rate of $19.80/month. Coverage is for you, your
spouse and your dependents.

Here are some of the features of the plan.

➢ Unlimited access to attorneys — telephone or face-to-face.

➢ There are many attorneys throughout the Metro so you have access regardless
of where you live.
➢ No claim forms or paperwork to deal with — you can call the Hyatt
number and they will refer participants to an attorney close to their home
or office location.

➢ Legal representation at a discount, including:

• Estate planning (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, etc.).
• Family law (adoption and legitimization, guardianship, name change, etc.).

• Juvenile matters (juvenile court, parental responsibility matters).

• Money matters (personal bankruptcy, debt collection defense,
garnishment defense, etc.).
• Traffic offenses (defense of traffic tickets, note: excludes DUI).

• Consumer protection (small claims assistance).

• Real estate matters (sale, purchase or refinancing of home; eviction
and tenant problems for tenant, etc.).

• Document preparation (affidavits, deeds, promissory notes, etc.).
• Elder law matters (Medicare, Medicaid, nursing home agreements, leases, etc.).
