• New in 2020 - Securus Tablets: The tablet program for inmates was started in June of 2020.
The inmate tablets provide the following applications through our vendor Securus: phone,
messaging application, podcasts, Ebooks, educational programs, law library, job search,
radio, and the ability to receive photos/short videos from outside parties after review by
security. There is also the option for purchase of music, games, and movies. The instituting
of inmate tablets has provided more opportunities for inmates to connect with family and
friends, and more opportunities for them within their housing unit especially since the start
of the COVID-19 pandemic.
