“Our First Blue Ribbon “
“Practice helps makes it Happen”
We had practiced often at home alone,
in a field set with cone after cone.
When I saw cones I was eager to go,
and all saw I was anything but slow.
We were smooth and we were fast,
maybe not first but certainly not last.
Places announced, we won blue.
A cones racing career come true.
