The Interview Guide is vital to hiring a great employee . It also helps save time in the interview process as you can
zero in on the right candidate more easily . It will also help improve your interview skills by minimizing mistakes that
are based on gut feelings and first impressions .
The Interview Guide also ensures fairness and consistency - and helps you maintain a legal hiring process by
ensuring that all interviewers ask consistent and agreed upon questions .
You will evaluate the candidates’ answers for each to the questions, indicating your level of confidence that
he/she is qualified to perform the job requirements of the position for which they are applying .
Once completed, please keep the Interview Guide with the application whether or not you hire them . If the person
is hired, the Interview Guide may also serve as a tool to review performance . How did the individual represent
his/her experiences during the interview . . .and how well are they displaying them today?
