MY BACKGROUND STORY


                                                            Hi my name is Micah Binns, I’m in the middle of the
                                                            picture to the left. I’m a 2015 UW-Platteville graduate and
                                                            currently finishing up my online graduate degree at
                                                            Western Governors University, majoring in Leadership and
                                                            Management.

                                                            You’re probably thinking, why would an entrepreneur
                                                            decide to make his life more difficult by pursing a M.S.?
                                                            Well, I have 3 older sisters who all completed their
                                                            graduate degree and I’ve decided that we as a family we’ll
                                                            be 4 for 4, because I’m competitive like that lol.

                                                            After working several internships and full-time jobs as an
                                                            Account Executive at Enterprise Rent-A-Car, FasTrak
                                                            Softworks, and Dunbar Armored bought by Brinks, and not
                                                            really enjoying affiliate marketing or Ecommerce, I decided
                                                            to learn the digital consulting business. It was an easy
                                                            choice for me, I can help 3-5 additional businesses a
                                                            month grow their practice, instead talking with 30 people
                                                            a day trying to sell another companies product.

                                                            The choice was easy, but to put in the practice was hard.
                                                            The first several months were difficult, not to mention
                                                            spending almost $7,000 on marketing software and

                                                            courses with agencies managing 6 or 7 figures a month

                                                            (some of these entrepreneurs are still my mentors). It took

                                                            me awhile: learning landing pages, email marketing,
                                                            Facebook ads, Google AdWords, how to setup ads, how to
                                                            install a pixel, oh and by the way did I mention learning
                                                            the actual industry I had to market to and the perfect
                                                            messaging to use? I used to think all you had to do was
                                                            focused on the correct ad demographic, funny thing is
                                                            marketing in Milwaukee and New York, the same landing
                                                            page and ad my not be a winner like it is in say Dallas, TX.


                                                            In Marketing it’s all about testing, developing
                                                            partnerships, and going with your gut instinct. After doing
                                                            work for other ad agencies and having several successful
                                                            campaigns. I founded Digital Pinpoint Marketing Agency in
                                                            late 2018, after 2 years of being in the marketing space I
                                                            decided it was time to cut the middleman.
