HOME ECONOMICS
Ms Kilkenny
Students will become familiar with the workings of the kitchen and all the equipment and utensils
associated with cooking the various dishes e.g. hand blenders, cookers, saucepans, electric beaters,
use of knives etc. They will also learn various cooking techniques and methods e.g. rubbing in
method, whisking method, frying, moist methods of cooking.
