Year 7 students have settled in and are
         becoming skilled, enquiring Geographers.
         They have recently been investigating
China and have produced some superb
work on topography, “Tourism” and “Life
in China.” They are now looking forward
to using their investigative skills to study
rocks and fossils and carry out fieldwork
after the Half Term holiday. YEAR7

E Year 9 students have been tackling the complex issue of atmospheric

D circulation with Miss Duckworth using balloons to illustrate the
processes involved. They have been developing and practicing their
GCSE exam technique in recent assessments and a number of students
Y have achieved Grade 8 and Grade 9. This is an outstanding achievement YEAR9

O This is an extremely busy time for our

Year 11 students. They are working
E hard revising for their looming GCSE
              exams using knowledge organisers,
            G retrieval grids and knowledge

              Strinesdale Country Park has provided
them with primary data to support Year 11 students completing
their completion of Paper 3 as well as Knowledge Accumulators to
