Oldham Athletic Community Trust support delivery of PSHE Lessons
As part of developing career based community links across the curriculum, the Oldham Athletic Community Trust
delivered a series of PSHE lessons to students at the Academy linked to their ‘Is it worth it project’.
Students were fully engaged in the 6 week block of lessons and we would like to thank Martin Vose and Holly Espie
from Oldham Community Trust for facilitating the project.
We look forward to continuing to work with Oldham Athletic Community Trust in the future,

Year 11 Business and Enterprise Students

Charity Event
Year 11 Business and Enterprise students planned and
facilitated a joint sponsored football penalty shoot-out
and basketball set-shot competition to students within Year’s
7&8. This was part of their coursework and the students
worked extremely hard to arrange a fantastic event.

Year 8 boys Manchester United Hub Competition

held at ESSA Academy Bolton

The Waterhead Academy Year 8 football team played
a great tournament, just failing in the semi-final stage
on penalties against a strong Swinton Academy.
