Year 10 STEM Careers Activity
-Network Rail

A fantastic day where pupils had to work in groups
and use their technical and creative skills to complete
3 different challenges.
All challenges involved them taking on the roles of
engineers and constructing a tower, trebuchet and a
racing car. Teamwork was rated as well as resilience
and the 3 winning teams won headphones!

Changing Horizons Event

- QUEEN ELIZABETH HALL

Students from Year 9 attended the annual Changing Horizons
Careers Event at the Queen Elizabeth Hall. Students had the
opportunity to undertake a range of activities and receive
information delivered by a variety of employers including
accountants, police, other emergency services and
apprenticeship providers.
