OPERATIONS
The company prides itself in having long standing relationships with its international suppliers. The demand for products is usually seasonal and strategic planning is done in August when the lowest sales are reported.
Orders
Craft Wicker and Things' orders are sent via emails to the suppliers, which are usually filled within a week and shipped to Jamaica in 3 to 4 days after
the receipt of the order.
Craft Wicker and Things enjoys a great relationship with the Customs Department, who is routinely alerted to pending shipments. This process allows for the order fulfillment time to be no more than two (2) weeks.
Suppliers
Overseas Suppliers of Craft Wicker and Things include established entities such as Marco Industries in Florida, JDS Industries and Plastic DressUp in California.
There are very few local suppliers with Mr Richard Beverley being the main supplier.
Stock Counts
Stock counts are conducted annually.

Credit Terms
Credit Terms are extended to Craft Wicker and Things, dependent on the quantity and products required. When the products arrive in Jamaica they are cleared from customs and delivered to the location by the customs broker. Payments are made using manager’s cheques and/or credit cards.
While the majority of Craft Wicker and Things' clients pay for products upon pick-up or delivery, there are a select few who are afforded special credit terms. These companies enjoy benefits such as a maximum of 10 business days to pay. Due to the excellent management of accounts receivables the company has been able to maintain relatively stable cash flow.
Accounting System
Craft Wicker and Things uses Peach Tree Accounting system so its accounts are up to date and the company enjoys an exemplary tax filing relationship with the authorities.
