Sausage
& Bean

Alternatively - you can buy ready-made sauces from the supermarket
Ingredients
Serves: 4
1 tablespoon olive oil 8 pork sausages
2 leeks, trimmed & sliced 1 carrot, roughly chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh sage 1 clove garlic, crushed
200ml beef stock 400g can chopped tomatoes
2 x400g tins cannellini beans 2 slices day-old white bread
Method
Prep: 15min › Cook: 7-9hr › Ready in: 57-9hr 15min
Heat the oil in a large pan, add the sausages and brown for a few munites
(if required).
Put all of the ingredients into the slow cooker (except for the
breadcrumbs) and cook on Low for 7-8 hours.
Once cooked, sprinkle on the bread crumbs (if required) and pop under a
pre-heated grill for 5 minutes until golden brown.
Serve and enjoy!
