With multiple accelerometers attached to a rotating
machine, you can determine which frequencies are
common to all points.
This will answer the question – whether a single vibration
source is propagating through the structure.
Although there may be a common frequency, unless they
come from the same source they will not be correlated
and their phases will be random.
