Relatively little activity at 1010 rpm, however the rotation

rate increases more activity occurs.

By the time you reach 4000 rpm there is a lot of vibrations

taking place at harmonic frequencies.

Order tracking is watching one harmonic only.

Order tracking helps you focus on specific components

within the machine and measure their contribution to the

overall performance of the machine.

Be aware in car engines there are components that have

higher ordered non-integer multiples.
