Tim's daughter who has produced his first grandchild

is probably his favourite and he goes over to see her
at least once a week. It will be interesting to see how

many children she will have over the next 10 years.

When we have lunch in the postgraduate club in the
University of Cambridge it is interesting to see how

many of the students spend their lunchtime looking at

their laptops. I often wonder what research students
did before the advent of laptop computers.

There is one thing to be said about the dining room in

the postgraduate centre, the cost of the food is
probably lower than any other dining facility in

Cambridge. Although there are many restaurants in

Cambridge their prices all very high compared to the
prices in the postgraduate centre. So as you can

imagine there are many students that have lunch at
the canteen. And it is not unusual to find parties of

Chinese students having the lunch as there are many

Chinese students at Cambridge University
