Lesson 22

A popular item to be found in English gardens is a

water feature. The one shown in the photo is quite
typical as it resembles that of the bird bath, the idea

is for it to attract garden birds to drink.

It is a closed water

system, by this we mean

the water is pumped
around in a circular

fashion. It has a water

pump which is powered
from a battery, that is

positioned in the stem

of the unit. So in effect
the water is pumped

around and around the
closed system.

You will notice from the second photo the top of the

water feature has been changed to show a sprinkler.
It also has some LEDs which change colour , and at

night it is a very attractive feature. There is something

quite magical about listening to the trickle of water,
