wines. This glass is used for drinking red wine as it has
a short stem. Red wine is usually served at room

temperature so it is quite acceptable to hold the glass
        by the fingers.

        3. This class is used for drinking white wine, white

wine is cooled before it is drunk. The temperature of
white wine is about five or 6° and it loses its taste if

it's drank at a higher temperature. Ideally you should
hold this glass by the stem, this way there will be no

heat transfer from your fingers to the wine in the
        glass.

        4. This glass is used for drinking whisky, you would

only put a couple of centimetres of whisky into this
glass. Although it is quite a large glass you would only

put a small amount of whisky into it.

        5. This glass would be used for a variety of drinks. They
include port, sherry and liquors. There are many

different types of the liquors on the market and they
come in different coloured and shaped bottles.

        6. Finally this glass is for drinking brandy, the shape of

the glass allows a large contact area with your
hand. This enables good heat transfer from your hand
