The digital piano has become a very popular
instrument not only in Europe but also in China as
well. The Japanese have a reputation for making
digital pianos, however there are a number of Chinese
companies also making these instruments.
A typical digital piano has 88 notes and can produce
other sounds such as organ or orchestral strings. One
of the reasons why it is a popular instrument is the
option of using headphones. This way only the player
hears the music.
In China today there are millions of children learning
to play the piano and when wearing headphones, the
digital piano saves the parents having to listen to the
hours of tedious practice. The digital pianos made
