Exam stress:
What is it and how can I manage it?

A little stress around exam time can be a good thing, as it motivates you to put in the work. But
sometimes stress levels can get out of hand, particularly at the end of an academic year.

When you become stressed, the sympathetic branch of the autonomic nervous system gets
switched on. Initially this is a good thing, because it is the activation of this system that
releases the neurochemical adrenaline – and this stimulates you to get going and focus on your
work. But the problem starts when periods of stress become prolonged.

          What can you do?
A simple and very practical step is to develop a plan of action by preparing well and organising
your time and workloads. This will help address that “out-of-control feeling”. A second step is
to begin to understand the physiological responses going on in your body and try to adjust
          them.
Breathing techniques offer a quick and effective method. They are easy to learn and can be
          practised any
time, any place, anywhere – because your breath is always with you. The trick is to learn to
breathe deeply by drawing your breath down into the abdomen. This stops shallow breathing
which is linked to stress and panicking.

You can try simple breathing techniques and practice them when you feel you are beginning to
feel stressed out. You might be surprised about how quickly you start to feel more in control of
          your stress and anxiety.

PINK BALL《 A NEW REVOLUTION IN CRICKET HISTORY 》

Since the first test cricket match was held in India in 1933,the country has hosted 270 more.
A common theme among all the test matches is the use of white outfit and the shiny red
balls. Cricket has been evolved very much in past 50 years. According to new rule of ICC,
players outfit must have a Jersey numbers and his name as same in ODI and T20. To evolve
the Indian Cricket BCCI President Sourav Ganguly instructed the makers of the test ball to
deliver a batch of six dozen pink balls by the first week of November. And some Indian
players have already trained with an advanced batch of the balls at NCA in Bengaluru. The
challenge for the makers is to combine the qualities of red and white balls, while retaining
SUMIT SAXENA the qualities of the test Ball. The Pink Ball has been designed to stay hard for 50 to 60 over
XI A so that it benefit to both spinner and Pacers. The handstitched seam of the ball
will help it to retain its shape longer and help bowlers grip it better. Pink Ball
is going to use in day - night test match. Ball should not be too flashy but
still bright enough to be visible in the dark as compared to red balls. It is
the first time that Pink Ball will be used in International Cricket by Indian
team in his second test match against Bangladesh on November 22 made
                     by Meerut based company
