With plans in motion to relocate to the Dallas area, B Frank is anxious to chase down new opportunities and get his foot in the door to become part of the Dallas line up. “I’m very excited to get down to that Dallas market and get my foot in the door. I have no doubt that I can stand tall in any market.”
B Frank is currently working on an EP called “Tim- ing Is Everything” that he wants to drop before the summer. Another project with his colleague and group partner Lovett Mane is expected to be finished and will drop around June. A trip to attend the BET Awards is also in the making for B Frank. “We not nominated for anything we just want to experience the excitement of going.” There is no doubt that goals are set high and the drive to obtain them is definitely relentless. While being able to branch out and do some work with lo- cal artists from Tulsa is definitely an interest, he knows getting himself upright and able to stand in the game must come first.
One of his main projects is investing in a young artist by the name of Lil’ Hype. “I definitely want to link in with Tulsa but right now I’m focused on my own shit.” One of those priorities is this new artist which is also his little brother. This will be the first artist he puts his money behind. Now that’s how you keep the business in the bloodline. “I want to open doors for him to give him a path to work on.” He will be the first artist under the MUG label.
B Frank had one solid piece of advice for his little brother coming into the game. “I just told him no matter what always write. Write down every idea and memorize everything.” It is very important to know and feel what you want to deliver when you step into that booth. “There is a huge difference being behind the mic and just rapping in the mirror. You have to bring that emotion and enthusiasm.” Deliverance is the most important part of any task that is performed.
Even while looking setbacks and adversity in the face, staying focused on the task at hand and keeping it pushing is an absolute must in order to achieve the standards and goals that have been set.
B Frank is definitely a display of Oklahoma talent with videos for hot tracks like “G’s Up” and “On De- mand” with his partner Lovett Mane and his hit, “What I Wanna Be” found on YouTube. He also has another video to soon be released called “Don Juan” which is expected to be his best work yet.
