Concept of health and disease

Family:

 Healthy family will help the development of their children and

living in healthy surroundings and will prevent or decrease

communicable diseases.

 Family stability will help the mental condition of their children thus

promoting their innovation.

Community:

 Delivering community services will promote the general health and

thus increase productivity.

 Collaboration between health services and community provide the

individual's right in health, mental health and community health.

The effect of poor health:

1. Much money spent on health care

2. Loss of earning for family and country

3. In ability to work

4. High death rate

5. Worry , pain and suffering

6. Unhealthy mothers produce unhealthy babies

7. Inability to take part in community activities

8. Inability to enjoy life

9. Malnutrition
