Community health services

3. Communicable disease control:
This part of community health services responsible for
controlling and preventing diseases.
Preventive measures include immunization, public health
education, and protection of water, milk, and other food supplies,
promotion of sanitation and control of carriers of diseases.
4. Endemic and parasitic diseases control:
Offering treatment of endemic and parasitic diseases mainly
schistosoma and intestinal parasitic.
5. Environmental sanitation:
It means control of all factors in the environment that affect the
health of the public. It includes water purification, proper refuse
and sewage disposal , food sanitation , control of noise, town
planning , as well as insects control.
6. Health education:
Public health education is important as it affects people's knowledge,
attitudes and practices. It could be provided through mass media or in school,
work environment and in health care facilities
