Community health services

              Introduction


                     Individual  matter.  Humankind  does  not  live  in  isolation,

              unaffected by others; as a result, health must be seen as a dynamic of

              community.



              Definition of community

                     A  community  is  a  system  of  formal  and  informal  groups


              characterized                       by

              interdependence  and  whose

              function  is  to  meet  collective

              needs of group  members.



              Types of community


              1. Communities with territorial bonds


                     Are  these  with  specifically  defined  boundaries  and  dimension  as


              club, jail and at a large town and cities.


              2- Communities with relational  bonds


                  It includes group in which the bond between  individuals exists in the


                  form  of  a common  relationship  rather  than  specific  boundaries.  For


                  example,  bond  of  shared  interests  or  goals  as  professional

                  organization.
