II. Sick Leave
If an employee completed more than three months after the probation period and falls ill, he/ she shall be entitled to sick leave; however, any employee should submit a medical certificate stamped by school’s medical insurance or stamped by Egyptian Health Authority or else the absent days will be deducted from the annual leave. The employee should then fill a leave form provided by the supervisor of his/her section, in order to be submitted to the HR Department.

Seven (7) days continuously, without any plausible reason, the employer may terminate the services of the employee without any notice.
Five (5) days continuously send him first warning if absent another 5 continuous days, send him another warning and fire him.
Ten (10) separate days send first warning; another separate 10 days send the final warning and then terminate him.
Bereavement Leave
Each employee may be granted 3 days paid bereavement leave in case of death of a close relative (parents, spouse, siblings or children) and it will counted against his/her emergency leave.
IV. Maternity Leave
After serving the school for one whole academic year (after 10 months socially insured), a female employee is entitled to three months of maternity leave, after or before confinement, with full pay. In case an employee has not completed a full year of employment with the school, she will be granted 45 days maternity leave with half pay.
V. Haj Leave
After spending 5 years of service in the school, the employee has the right for a month paid vacation for Haj and this is for once all over his period of service.
VI. Public Holidays
Each employee is entitled to full pay on all religious and national holidays as determined and announced by the official local authorities
Official and religious holidays are as per the MOE notification according to the yearly calendar received. School reserves the right to cancel or modify any dates. TOC
