o  Remote PIC must ensure the sUAS operation does not interfere with any airport
                              operations, he must yield to all other aircrafts including surface operations
                          o  At or near a controlled airport monitor ATIS (Automated Traffic Information
                              Service) frequency to know which runway is being used. At an uncontrolled
                              airport (no tower) listen to the CTAF (Common Traffic Advisory Frequency) to
                              know which runway is in use. You may even announce your operation on the
                              CTAF to make other (manned aircraft) pilots about your operation.
                          o  A typical traffic pattern is rectangular and is normally flown 1,000 feet above the
                              airport, see diagram below
                          o  One useful resource for this information is an app called B4UFly


































                   •  Airport Markings and Signs
                          o  Runway numbers are oriented to the Magnetic Compass e.g Runway 9 – 27 is an
                              East / West runway
