Thanks to the 55 players who represented the District in season 2020. Especially the 12 who played for the very rst time. Hopefully they enjoyed
the experience and will play again in 2021. A few milestones in season 2020. Dinesh Bailwal passed 2,000 career runs and now sits with 2,028 runs in the bank. Rajitha Waruna passed 1,000 and he has scored 1.039 for the District in his career so far. Colin Neill played his 300th match, John Cameron played his 250th match, while Iain Redmond and Peter Robertson played their 200th and 100th respectively.
A couple more rsts. First centuries for Francois Fourie and Brendon Hillyard. Faf scored his at the Vale of Leven, 116 no o 66 balls with 7 fours and 10 sixes. Brendon got his at Doune, 105* o 105 balls,
9 fours 5 sixes. Well done guys. The bowlers had a couple of rsts as well. Alex Todd took his rst ve wicket haul against Helensburgh U16s. Alex bowled 6 overs 1 maiden and took 5-21. In the last game
of the season Alan Peacock also nabbed his rst “ ve for” against Glendelvine. Alan bowled 7 overs 1 maiden taking 5-38, his fth wicket coming o the last ball of the nal match. Well done boys great end to the season.
