       Rating Medical Insurance Plans

        Introduction
        Rating refers to the calculation of the contribution known as a premium; each individual
        has to pay the insurer, in exchange for insurance protection. This contribution should be
        sufficient to meet costs of expected insurance losses, pay office expenses, provide a
        profit and establish reserves.
