                         "Womenathon-2016" was

                   sponsored by Bank of Maharashtra

                   On the occasion of World Women's Day, a special Mini Marathon
                   was arranged exclusively for Women by Pune Racing
                   Organisation on 6th March. The "Womenathon-2016" was
                   sponsored by Bank of Maharashtra. The Marathon was flagged
                   off by Ms. Archana Joglekar, Assistant General Manager, Bank
                   of Maharashtra.

SBI releases Rs. 1465 Crores to defence pensioners under One Rank
                              One Pension scheme

State Bank of India has announced "Release of Arrears to around 7.99 lakhs defence pensioners under One Rank One
Pension (OROP)" on 14th March 2016.

Sharing the details, Smt. Arundhati Bhattacharya, Chairman SBI, said that "As per government guidelines, first installment
(i.e.1/4th of the total arrear amount up to Feb, 2016) to service pensioners and full amount of arrears to 'Family Pensioners'
and 'Gallantry Award' pensioners will be paid on 14th March, 2016.

She further added that SBI has largest share of defence pensioners and serves approx. 50% of total defence pensioners
across the country. The first tranche of arrear payment by SBI will be around Rs.1465 crores.

She added that the bank has introduced facilities in all branches/ Centralised Pension Processing Centres (CPPCs) to provide
arrear details to the pensioners. Also pensioners are welcome to approach any SBI branch for the purpose.

While the bank has taken utmost care in the computation & release of arrears to maximum number of eligible defence
pensioners, there could be cases where the bank has not been able to release OROP arrears due to information gaps in
the data available with the bank. All such persons may approach their pension disbursing branch and provide the missing
information for an early release of the arrears.

 J&K Bank opens business units in Pulwama, Anantnag, Rajouri and
                                      Poonch

J&K Bank has inaugurated two Business Units (BU) at Wuyan Pampore in Pulwama and Bon Bazar Qazigund in Anantnag
amid large gathering of valuable customers, senior citizens and local residents. Zonal Head Kashmir South (I) Mohammad
Maqbool Lone inaugurated the BU at Wuyan while as Zonal Head Kashmir South (II) Fayaz Ahmad Siddiqui inaugurated
the BU at Bon Bazar. Apprising the participants about bank's mission of financial empowerment, Zonal Heads at both
the places reiterated the bank's commitment to provide the world class banking products and services to the people of
state. They urged the participants to avail the bank's products, which are tailored to meet their different financial needs.
Locals appreciated the opening of business units in their respective areas. Zonal Head Jammu West (Rajouri) Peer Masood
Ahmed Chisti inaugurated the new business unit at Tandwal in district Rajouri while as the bank's Cluster Head Poonch
Ghulam Jeelani inaugurated the unit at Samote in Poonch in presence of large gatherings comprised of valuable customers,
senior citizens and local residents. Zonal Head urged the people to take full advantage of the products and services
available at these business units. The senior citizens and customers present on the occasion hailed such efforts of the
bank to facilitate economic development in these border districts.
