As co-founder of Mantra Protection Solutions
Limited, Aniekan Willie is also Director of Mantra
Operations Solutions, a United Kingdom
registered Limited Company.

A highly experienced, management level security
professional, Aniekan spent 26 years working for
ExxonMobil subsidiary companies in Nigeria
becoming the corporation’s first indigenous
Global Security Advisor for Nigeria, and gaining
company-wide recognition for his expertise in fit-
for-purpose security designs, risk assessment,
guard force and executive protection program
management.

After ExxonMobil, immediately prior to setting up MPSL, Aniekan worked as Country Security
Manager for Afren plc., with responsibility for Nigeria and West Africa region. In this position, he
had oversight for and led multimillion dollar security management programs that maximized
business and financial performance for the company.

Aniekan is intimately familiar with the threats and challenges faced by companies and agencies
operating in Nigeria. Having pursued business in high risk areas and been responsible for employees
living and working in crisis environments, he has been successful in translating his very real-life crises
experiences into lessons learned that led to improvements in emergency planning and managing
security incidents. He ensures that emergency plans are practical, tailored to meet the most relevant
emergency situations and continually practiced and improved.
