Pray for the Persecuted

Church in America

Numerous pastors and Christians have declared that
God, not government, is their God. Some have been
threatened and even jailed. We need to pray for these men
who have openly declared that God is their God and that Je-
sus is the head of the church, not the government. Thank
God for these men!

Clearly, the church belongs to God, not the
government. Christ is the head of the church, not the gov-
ernment. Church matters are between God and the church.
Man and government may recommend, but have no right to
command. Controlling a church is done in countries such as communist China. This is sin. Control
of the church belongs to God and no other.

The scriptures clearly state to fear God, not man. We need to trust God, stand on his
word, stand with those who are persecuted for their faith, and spread these truths to others. If
the LORD is your God, tell others these truths.

Who is your God?

Government?
Something or someone else?
Or the LORD?

The LORD, he is God!

“ . . . for it is written, Thou shalt
worship the Lord thy God,
and him only shalt thou serve.”
