Looking back at Carswell AFB in the ‘50s

          On April 9, 1954 I rotated from 1932nd AACS,
         Goose Bay, Labrador to Carswell AFB, TX, 2048th
         AACS switching center. I came to the base back
         gate where an artisan well was pouring into a
         small lake.
          My friend from high school, SSgt Norman
