Strengthening of Supporting Structure

Where the supporting structure is not capable of supporting the most adverse combination of ex-
pected loads, it shall be strengthened by propping or other means.

Soleplates

Where soleplates are required, they shall be designed to distribute the load from a scaffold to the
supporting structure.
