 Black Gold Lads Championship Futurity-RG3
EYE WORK FOR YOU
by Michael Compton
Eye Work For You left little doubt who was best in the $178,000 Black Gold Lads Championship Futurity-RG3 at Will Rogers
Downs on Nov. 14, winning the 400-yard test as he pleased to record his third stakes victory.
Ridden by James Flores, Eye Work For You took the lead at the break and was never headed. Eye Work For You dueled through the early stages with longshots Bpmysoutherndynasty and O Donovan Rossa, defeating
the latter by a comfortable

Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity-RG1 and the All American Juvenile at Ruidoso Downs. The $71,200 winner’s share of this purse increased his bankroll to a hefty $539,612.
A debut winner back in March at Remington Park, Eye Work For You began his career by rattling off three consecutive victories, culmi- nating with his win in the Remington Park Oklahoma-Bred Futurity. He is now a winner

O Donovan Rossa (Apollitical Jess-Shanachee) offered game chase in a strong effort but was second best on the day under jockey Daniel
Torres. The gelding won for the first time taking his trial heat on Oct. 25 for owners Loyd Yother and Garvan Kelly, and the Dee Kenner trainee returned with another solid effort to earn the runner-up’s prize.
Keener also sent out third-place finisher Bpmysoutherndynasty (FDD Dynasty-BP Southern Mariah). Rolando Raudales had the riding assignment aboard Elizabeth Logan’s stakes winner. Bpmysoutherndynasty is a 3-time winner from 11 lifetime starts.

PAINT ME TRES
by Michael Compton
Paint Me Tres became a stakes winner in convincing fashion, running her rivals off their feet in the $234,000 Black Gold Lassies
Championship Futurity-RG3 at Will Rogers Downs on Nov. 14.
With jockey Jorge Torres aboard, Paint Me Tres raced in second position, dueling with Sweet Candy Jewel early in the 400-yard event. In a strong drive through the lane, Paint Me Tres surged to the front and edged clear of that foe approaching the wire to
register a 1/2-length victory. Paint Me Tres covered the distance over the sloppy track in :19.797, good for a speed index of 98.
In winning the first stakes race of her career, Paint Me Tres notched her fourth win from five starts; her only defeat coming in the Rainbow Juvenile over the summer. The bay filly, owned and bred by Summer Hill Farm and
trained by Clinton Crawford, now has earn- ings of $116,932.
Paint Me Tres broke her maiden in her May 22 unveiling at Remington Park where she displayed her affinity for an off track, winning over a track labeled muddy. The versatile filly has now won over muddy and sloppy surfaces and twice over fast tracks, most recently in her Oct. 25 trial which she won wire-to-wire, scoring
by a length in the end. She has also proved she does not need to take her track
with her, notching wins at Remington Park, Will Rogers Downs and Ruidoso Downs.
Summer Hill Farm bred Paint Me Tres out of lightly raced Paint Me Anywhere. She has produced 100% stakes winners from two starters, including Jim Bader Futurity winner Kiss Me Anywhere.
