Harrah’s Entertainment Futurity-G3
ON NYX

It was an evenly-matched group of nine juve- niles that disputed the $302,010 Harrah’s Entertainment Futurity-G3 purse in the sixth
race at Louisiana Downs on April 3. After covering 300 yards, it was On Nyx getting the best of the field to break her maiden in the second start of her career.
Ridden by Victor Urieta Jr. in both her trial heat and in the finals, On Nyx entered the main event as the fifth-fastest qualifier.
In her March 13 trial, she gave a solid performance dueling throughout the race to finish second by a just a neck to the third- fastest qualifier.
In the Grade 3 Harrah’s Entertainment Futurity finals, On Nyx broke second from the eight-post. The filly remained in second mid- field as she contested early supremacy with the speedy Lucky Dice.
