LOVE IS EVERYTHING V
by John Moorehouse
James Sills’ gelding Love Is Everything V now holds back-to-back stakes victories with his effort in the $48,500 Mr Master Bug Stakes-RG3 at Remington Park on April 18.
Coming into this race off a wire-to-wire victory in the $232,600 Oklahoma Derby-G3, Love Is Everything V entered the gates as the heavy favorite. The gelding proved the oddsmakers right, leading at every call of the 350-yard event and winning in rather resounding fashion.
With Jimmy Brooks aboard, the gelding broke on top from the 9-post, led by a 1/2-length at the first call and then exploded, drawing clear of any would-be rivals and hitting the wire with a comfort- able 1 1/2-length margin of victory.

by John Moorehouse

winning a 250-yard maiden at the same Oklahoma track.
