The sorrel gelding, who was bred in Texas by Jose R. Espinosa, won the first race of his career wire-to-wire in a trial for the Louisiana Downs Futurity. He finished fifth in the main event in a blanket finish. He then finished fourth in his trial for the Old South Futurity. His clocking earned him the sixth fastest time going into the finals.
Woopaa123 is produced from the winning and stakes-placed Moon Shake mare Chalinashake. She won one race and finished third in the Manor Downs Juvenile Invitational and fifth in the TQHA Futurity.

Docs Best Medicine (Docs Best Card- Maddies Special Turf), with jockey Jose Herbert aboard, rallied late from the back of the pack to finish third, just a nose behind the second place finisher. The bay gelding is campaigned by Jose Sierra and Karla Diaz Gomez and is trained by Juan Diaz Jr. A winner in his trial dash, Docs Best Medicine was bred in Oklahoma by Charles Cox and was a $12,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate.
