The filly is out of Snootie Socialite, a winning daughter of the Favorite Trick TB stallion Favorite Cartel, and she is a half-sister to Mr Snootie Cartel, the third-place finisher in last year’s $90,508 John Deere Arizona Juvenile Challenge Stakes at Arizona Downs.
Socially Awkward’s second dam, Snoots, is a winning Separatist mare. Her third
dam, the winning First Down Dash mare First And Proud, was a finalist in three graded stakes at Los Alamitos from 1995- 96, including the ’95 Ed Burke Memorial Futurity-G1. First And Proud foaled Go And Get, a stakes-winning and Grade 3-placed half-brother to Snoots.
Socially Awkward traces back to her fourth dam, Go Proudly. A daughter of the Ettabo stallion Sir Rambler and 1971 World Champion Charger Bar, Go Proudly was a half-sister to stakes winners multiple graded stakes winner Blushing By and multiple stakes winner Proud Heritage.
One Fabulous Dog (Dog Daze Afternoon-One Fabulous Choice) banked the $5,600 runner-up share of the purse to bring his earnings to $29,979 from 11 races for his owner, Rene Chavez. David Reyes-Frisby rode the homebred bay gelding for trainer Norma Reyes. One Fabulous Dog was a runner-up in last year’s AQRA Turf Paradise Open Juvenile.

1/2-lengths behind Socially Awkward. David Pinon rode the homebred black gelding for trainer Omar Cruz.
RR Czech This Panama (Panama Wes- Cranberry Czech) finished fourth and was
followed by Steel Blood (Apollitical Blood- Apollos Favorite), Tig (Valiant Hero-Cara Cara), El Dashingseparatist (Separatist-First Cash Connie), and Docs Best Woman (Docs Best Card-Brownleggedwoman).
