                 YO MORNING DELITE

Flying from the gate, Yo Morning Delite ran a clean wire-to-wire run under jockey Shaunda Larsen to win the $48,125 Wyoming Stallion
Breeders Derby at Sweetwater Downs by 1/2 length on Sept. 2. The sorrel gelding breezed the 350 yards in a time of :17.280, landing a speed index of 106.
The stakes win brought home $19,250 for breeder and owner Gerald Kaul.
The gelding now sits with career earning of $50,490. Under trainer Tryston Matt, Yo Morning Delite has taken home the win in eight of his 13 career outs.
Yo Morning Delite is leading money earner and second stakes winner out of Rs Afternoon Delite. He is a full brother to stakes winner Yo Brindis Delite.
In a late effort from the outside, Eyesa Special Gunner (Eyesa Special Slim-Streakin Camilla) and jockey Luis Peralta moved from sixth to second and crossed the wire by 1/2 length. The chestnut gelding is bred and owned by Broken Bones Cattle Company and trained by Jesse Villegas. Eyesa Special Gunner was the winner of the Wyoming All Breed Futurity last June at Energy Downs 307 Horse Racing.
Where Is My Corona (Salt Point Bay- Keepyourshirton) and jockey Jesus Canales broke alertly from the gate and steadily gained ground down the track, crossing the wire in third. The filly is bred and owned by Raul Caballero and trained by Sergio Canales.
The remaining order to finish was Overcooked (Flay-Over The Top), Yo Barely A Glance (Fiftyshadezofgrey-Barely A Secret), Dirty Jan Boy (Dustin Pro-Antonios Jan), A Dusty Lil Diamond (Dustin Pro-Pritzis Diamond Lil), The Iron Chef (Flay-Pt Eyes On Me), Jess Pure Sass (Choctaw River-Jls Imaladynwaiting), Eyesa Special Moxy (Eyesa Special Slim-Lil Charolette Swirl).

Smyly recorded the fastest qualifying time for the $83,090 Mile High Futurity at Arapahoe Park in her Aug. 28 trial dash. The bay filly returned in
the featured event on Sept. 10 and fended off all challengers to prevail narrowly in a blanket finish.
Ridden by Cordarelton Benn, Smyly broke alertly and went to the front after the start of the 400-yard contest.
She received pressure from a host of challengers through the lane and crossed the wire a neck in front of BP Moonlight to notch the victory.
Sent off at odds of 6-1, Smyly stopped the timer in :20.332 and earned a speed index of 89.
Owned by Celeness Racing LLC and trained by Chris Gandarilla, Smyly is a now a two-time winner from four lifetime starts. The $33,236 winner’s share of the purse increased her earnings to $35,139.
Bred in California by Steve Burns DVM, Smyly is produced from the One Famous Eagle mare One Tempting Chick. She is a $23,000 graduate of the 2022 Los Alamitos Equine Mixed Sale.
BP Moonlight (Moonin The Eagle-BP Shes Southern) stumbled at the start and just missed under jockey Christian Erives. The gray filly, who is still in search of her first win, is owned by David Pena- Marrufo and is trained by Hipolito Michel-Valverde.
Hugo Barron-Sierra homebred Biancas Flare (Flare for Ivory-Shinning Bianca) finished third just a head behind the runner-up in a solid effort. Ridden by Martin Lazalde, Biancas Flare is trained by Jose Barron.

Seis), El Manguito (Carters Cartel-BP First Down Policy), Vals Coronado (Coronado Cartel-Valiant Energy), Wine Time (Favorite Carte-Regard The Rose), A Beautiful Flare (Flare For Ivory-A Beautiful Flame), Athena Maximus (Furrtreeous-Firstlady To Themoon), and Howlin At the Moon (Moonin the Eagle-Really A Corona) followed.
BUYMYLADYACORONA

Buymyladyacorona, the fastest qualifier for the $58,865 Mile High Derby at Arapahoe Park, backed up the fast time in his trial heat with a
dominating victory in the main event on Sept. 10. Ridden by Martin Lazalde, Buymyladyacorona
broke best, and assumed command of the 400-yard test from the start.
The sorrel gelding surged clear in the lane and maintained a clear lead to the finish. He defeated runner-up PYC Fancy Cartel by 1 1/4-lengths, stopping the timer in a fast :19.485 as the odds-on race favorite. The final clocking earned a speed index of 111.
Owned by Barron Racing LLC and
Empire Racing and trained by Jose Barron, Buymyladyacorona improved his record to 11-4-1-2.
The $23,546 winner’s share of the
purse increased his bankroll to $42,146. Bred in Oklahoma by Flag Ranch LLC, Buymyladyacorona is produced from the One Famous Eagle mare Lady Eagle 123.
Second-place finisher PYC Fancy Cartel (PYC Fun N Fancy-Kimbo Cartel) also broke well and offered game chase through the lane under jockey Roman Cruz. The four-time winner is owned by La Despedida Racing LLC and is conditioned by Hugo Ontiveros. In addition to saddling the winner, Barron also sent out third-place finisher Fearless Fortitude (Flare For Ivory-Ima Fearless Fire). The brown filly, who races in the colors of Barron Racing, dueled throughout and held third under Jhaciel Soto.
Our Secret Habit (Hez Our Secret-Corona Habit), Beduino Kicker (Dash Kicker-Separate Signature), Diabolical Clyde (Capo De Capi-Babe’s Bonnie Babe TB), Elegant Jess (One Sweet Jess- Might She Go), One Dun Hero (One Valiant Hero- PYC Pick Your Pocket PYC), Sweet City Woman (One Sweet Jess-Ms Carter Cash), and Country Rocket Foose completed the order of finish.
