Bye Corona Bye waved goodbye to his rivals early in the $552,520 TQHA Sale Futurity-RG2 at Retama Park on July 30. After beginning his racing career a perfect
4-for-4, including victories in the West Texas Futurity-G2 at Sunland Park and the Sam Houston Futurity-G2 at Sam Houston Race Park, Bye Corona Bye fell short of stretching his win streak to five with a defeat in his trial for the TQHA Sale Futurity, finishing second to fastest qualifier Brock Landers on July 15, scoring the ninth fastest qualifying time going into the finals.
It didn’t take long for Bye Corona Bye to return to his winning ways and avenge his lone defeat.
With jockey Victor Urieta Jr. back in the saddle, Bye Corona Bye broke sharply from the 4-hole in the TQHA Sale Futurity finals and took command out of the gates.
None of his nine rivals offered any pressure through the lane, and Bye Corona
