RUIDOSO DOWNS, NEW MEXICO Qualififiers To The 2022 $100,000
ALL AMERICAN INVITATIONAL STAKES

The second ten fastest qualifiers from the All American Derby trials have earned invites to the $100,000 All American Invitational Stakes, which will be run on September 4.
The runners faced a rainy day and a sloppy track with minimial wind and temperatures near 70 degrees.
Homebreds include second fastest qualifier KJ Desparado and KJ Wildthang, both bred by John and Kathy Lee’s L&L Cattle and co-owned by the Lees and Ruben Mares; third fastest qualifier El Painted Eagle, bred/owned by Jose Luis Ozuna; and Special Apollitical for breeder/owner Adam B. Smith. Also, Steve D. Burns bred Minecraft and co-owns him with Empire Racing. Trainers Wesley T. Giles and Eric Valenzuela both qualified two horses to the stakes event. Giles trained second fast- est qualifier KJ Desparado and KJ Wildthang, both had Adrian A. Ramos in the irons. Valenzuela trained third & fourth fastest qualifiers El Painted Eagle and Minecraft, both of which had Sergio Becerra Jr. aboard.
