 Hy Diamond as a broodmare sire has grandget that have won $507,015 with 142 starters that earned 65 ROM including eight stakes winners. The leading money earner is Hustling Man, winner of the 1962 All American Futurity-G1. Hustling Man was out of Diamond Mae. Another pedigree note: Deep Diamond and Diamond Charge were both out of Depth Charge mares.
 Hygro, the sire of Hy Diamond, the sire of Diamond Charge, was a stakes winner of the Joliet Stakes, Helpful Stakes, Hawthorne Juvenile Handicap and second in the Eastern Shore Handicap. He had 18 starts with nine wins, five seconds and earnings of $33,235. He sired 150 Thoroughbred foals with 115 starters and 10 stakes horses. One of his stakes winners was Quien Es, a multiple stakes winner including the Great Lakes Handicap.
He sired 65 AQHA registered foals with 19 starters and eight stakes winners. His leading stakes winner was Hy Dale, winner of the Ruidoso Downs Quarter Mile Championship and the Pacific Coast QHRA Championship. Hygro was sired by Epinard and out of Ruddy Light by Honeywood.
Lovely Lupita is the dam of Diamond Charge. She was a race mare with six starts, one win and one third earning $244. This mare was the dam of only three foals/three starters and Diamond Charge was her big money winner. She had one other ROM in Be Glad.
The sire of Lovely Lupita was Depth Charge, the winner of five of his 16 starts with three seconds and two thirds earning $5,943. He was third
in the 1943 Myles Standish Stakes. He went on to be a successful sire of both Quarter Horses and Thoroughbreds. His Thoroughbreds earned $1,824,132 with 149 starters and 12 stakes horses.
