PYC Avenue is undefeated in three starts. He won a maiden race at Remington before capturing his trial for the third-fastest qualifying time.
Jose Guzman and Jose Acosta bred PYC Avenue in Oklahoma out of unraced Go Paloma Go TB. The gelding is the first starter for the mare, who descends from a line of Walter Merrick broodmares. Acosta bred the first and second dam, while Merrick bred Diamond Lode, the third dam.
Charlotte and Brett Northam bred
San Lorenzo Ivory in Oklahoma from winner Ashleys Gold Digger. That mare
has produced eight starters, all winners, including multiple Grade 1 winner Gold Digging Ashley. Champion and sire Kiss My Hocks appears in the pedigree; he is out of stakes-placed Romancing Mary, a half-sister to Ashleys Gold Digger.
Carrizales trains third-place Eye On The Card (Docs Best Card-Johns Party Girl) for
owner Omar Hernandez. Francisco Calderon rode Eye On The Card, who won his trial in his racing debut.
Completing the field were Mitey Like A Rose (FDD Dynasty-Cartel Rosie), Apollitical Face (Apollitical Jess-Paint Your Face), Cartel Kisses (Kiss My Hocks-Midnight Cartel), Jess Angel Blood (Apollitical Blood-Fiero Royale), A Southern Hero (Valiant Hero-Southern Miss), and Kiss Of Valor (Kiss My Hocks-Belle Of Valor). Lota Hot Mess was scratched.
