Paint On Canvas, who was a finalist in the 2018 Ruidoso Derby-G1. She has produced 100% stakes winners from her one starter.
Her second dam is the multiple graded stakes winning and stakes placed mare Executive Looks who earned $277,891 during her racing career. She won the ’08 Manor Downs Futurity-G1, the ’09 Classic Chevrolet Heartbeat Of America Handicap-RG3 and the ’09 La Villita Stakes. She has produced 14 winners from 20 starters including four stakes winners with earnings of $1,786,061.
First Lady On Canvas traces back to
her third dam, Sticky N Picky, who was a multiple stakes winning and stakes placed mare who earned $117,391 during her racing career. In 1994 she won the Bobby Doyle Handicap and the First Down Dash Handicap. She also placed second in the Pomona Championship Handicap-G1 and in 1993 was a finalist in the Texas Classic Futurity-G1 and the Rainbow Futurity-G1.
Runner-up Flash Divine (First Moonflash- Girlonthego), dueled throughout but was second-best under jockey Noe Garcia Jr. Flash Divine races in the colors of his owners and breeders Jimmy Negrete and Jimmy Vazquez and is trained by Wesley Giles. A half-brother to multiple stakes winners Cat Daddys
Lil Girl and Ryansmanonthemoon, Flash Divine won his Oct. 8 trial and broke his maiden in May in his career debut. He also
finished fourth in the New Mexico Breeders’ Futurity-G3 at Sunland Park.
RC Jessa Flashn (A Passion for Flashn- Remember Me Jess), put in a steady effort under jockey Emilio Tapia to finish third for owner RC Racing LLC and trainer Martin Orona Sr. Second to Flash Divine in her trial heat, RC Jessa Flashn was bred in New Mexico by her owner.
Elisas Espereance (Jumpn Chic- Esperance), Flash Me The Price (First Moonflash-First Prize Mine), Flecha Gris (Osbaldo-VN Dos Por Tres), Would Be You (Woodbridge-Wish You Had One To), Moon Jumpn Jessica (Jumpn Chic-Le Mishka Jess), Ima Alertly (A Royal Jess-Camelia), and Mr Tres Effort (TF Featured Effot-Beyond 15) completed the order of finish.
