Since then she has gone on to star in Korean television shows such as Queen of the

game, The Fugitive: Plan B, Romance Town, Brain, Standby, 7 grade Civil Servant, and
the netflix series, Marco Polo.
When asked about the audition process for avengers, she reveals that it was very
secretive, and not much information was given.
“It was not an openly known audition; I was on the list of actors chosen by disney
or Marvel. I directly received the script as one individual. The given information did
not include content about the character, so I became well-acquainted with the script
through deductive reasoning. after video taping myself with no [information], I sent
it to america. The rumor is that female actresses tried out for it, but everything took
place so secretively and there was even security at the audition location to prevent
us from running into one another, so it’s a mystery to me, as well, which actresses
auditioned for the part.”
With little information to go on, it was her love of the television show “Buffy the Vampire
Slayer” that solidified her decision to be a part of the film. Joss Whedon created and produced
the iconic television series, and directed the first avengers film, The avengers.
“as a young kid, I was a huge fan of Joss Whedon, who was the creator of Buffy the
Vampire Slayer admits Kim. “When I went into the casting session, I was so hopeful
and honored. I was so beyond thrilled when I found out that I was cast to work
alongside Joss Whedon and the incredible cast of the film.”
Kim does speak Korean in the film, and recalls a funny story about her first scene.
“In my first scene in the movie I speak in Korean. But no one in the staff of
avengers 2 knew Korean, so if I made an ng (not good), I had to report on
