have heard, “They are too small, but I’ll take them all”?

Larry, in the last couple weeks, has had time to start
his summer move ups using the new potting machine.
Getting it was a wise move because we have been short-
handed. Personally, I miss doing the summer potting, but
my knees have decided to remind me that I’m 80 now. I
have had to give the ground level irrigation repairs over
to my grandson, Robert. I can get down to it but getting
back up is the problem. PVC piping and valves are easy to
install, but when the time comes to replace leaky ones, it’s
not as easy. They’re a great example of a false economy
because they are less expensive to install, but expensive to
replace when the pipes must be sawed out because they
are immovable. This time they will be installed with unions
to be easily replaceable. I mention this because we had
a lot of leaks which wasted water and made a mess in
spots. I can’t help it, but submariners hate water where it
doesn’t belong.
