                                                     ABSTRACT

We prepared gold-doped nano-perovskite-clusters of the type Sr2Pd1-
yMyO3 using thermal and microwave-assisted methods. The prepared
material is administered as surface modifier for non-enzymatic catalytic
sensing of glucose. The structure, morphology and electrochemical
properties of the prepared nano-perovskites were studied using: field
emission scanning and high-resolution transmission electron
                    microscopies (FE-SEM/EDAX and HR-TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD),
differential thermal analysis (DTG), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy
(XPS), particle size analysis, voltammetry, and electrochemical impedance
spectroscopy (EIS). The effect of the different metal dopants type in B-site
of Sr2PdO3 perovskite was evaluated. An optimum structure of
Sr2Pd0.7Au0.3O3showed the highest electro-catalytic activity for glucose
conversion. Figures of merit in sensing performance of the material are
reported. Alternative surface modification and other materials
performance will be discussed and compared.
