                                                     ABSTRACT
Environmental pollution nature of heavy metals and metalloids has received

considerable attention. Heavy metals have a great tendency to form complexes,
especially with biological ligands containing N, S, and O atoms leading to many

toxicological and carcinogenic effects. Separation processes performed by

distillation, extraction, condensation, evaporation, crystallization, and filtration

consume about half the total energy used in the chemical industry. Great

developments in the field of coordination polymers have been achieved recently,
especially in production with a large membrane area, modification for better

performance, and application. They have large surface areas and well-defined

pore structures. These prepared nano materials 2D structure will be

characterized using IR, Raman; SEM; BET; AFM; XRD in addition to adsorption
capacity, water stability and toxicity studies.
